After six years, 14 fertility treatments in the UK and abroad, three miscarriages, and two children, Emma set up Hard to Conceive.
“Building a family today is hard, in general! But throw in physical complications and it can feel impossible. Whether it’s fighting through fertility challenges, managing pregnancy complications, trying to trust the UK maternity service, navigating the unique complexity of a surrogacy or adoption process, trying again after loss, trying something new or mustering the fortitude to stop trying. There are so many people fighting for family against the odds and each of those stories bring to life the incredible myriad ways that ‘family’ can be formed.”
